And here the first buggy-class racer reaching the finish line checkpoint inside the "Kudre Ore" mining station of the #DaymarRally in #StarCizizen

Herbie is still running on foot after his last replacement-vehicle died of cooler issues.
He has to make it until 1 hour after the 3rd vehicle of the slow moving "8x8 truck" reaches the destination.
Then the entire race ends for good after 6 hours of total time.

Not only can we see where the drivers of the #DaymarRally are looking,
through their Tobii eye trackers.

We can also see in the top left,
how driver and copilot are constantly communicating with each other.
The current speaker gets displayed as a badge by Discord.

I don't like real world racing
but this community organised event in #StarCizizen is quite catching.
Even making it to the finish line is quite an achievement for a team.

In the forseeable future we'll get repair and ground-refueling in #StarCizizen .
This will make future #DaymarRally even more interesting.

The new map/radar will hopefully allow navigation for drivers of ground vehicles this year.

In the bike racing division of the #DaymarRally in #StarCizizen ,
one team lost their vehicles and support craft to pirates.

Another team made a detour. picked their racer up to carry them over the finish-line.
Now that's #Sportsmanship .

Because after the first crash finishes,
all other vehicles in the same category have 1 hour to cross the finish line themself or be disqualified.

The support ships for the racers in the #DaymarRally in #StarCizizen are burning throuhg a lot of fuel.

Luckily we have air refueling now.

Apart from hoverbikes and buggies,
the #DaymarRally in #StarCizizen
also allows you to do offriad racing with 8x8 offroad trucks.
(Bikes with wheels will come to the game "soon". )

While the bikes are crazy fast,
the trucks need even more attention to the terrain then the buggies.
Especially at night.

PS:
The camera pilots are doing an awesome job circling around the buggies at ground level without crashing themself. (Happened often enough the previous years.)
