Stanley Turrentine - That's Where It's At
1962 soul jazz/hard bop album from Turrentine, joined by Les McCann (piano), Herbie Lewis (bass), and Otis Finch (drums).
Turrentine blows soulfully, McCann sings his way through his solos (easily picked up by the mic), and Lewis & Finch provide great rhythm support.

Stanley Turrentine - In Memory Of
With a great lineup consisting of Turrentine (sax), Blue Mitchell (trumpet), Curtis Fuller (trombone), Herbie Hancock (piano), Bob Cranshaw (bass), Otis Finch (drums), and Mickey Roker (congas), along with a bunch of great tracks and performances, you'd think this would have been put out in 1964 when it was recorded.
But no - wasn't released until 1979, and recently got a Tone Poet edition...which this is.

Stanley Turrentine with The Three Sounds - Blue Hour
As you might expect, given the name, five bluesy tracks from 1960.
Turrentine on tenor, of course, joined by Gene Harris (piano), Andrew Simpkins (bass), and Bill Dowdy (drums).
