If a Republican claims to be a Christian and, in my presence, proceeds to denigrate a Trans person (i.e., all Trans people), I will call you out for being the bigoted Christian Nationalist you are! I'm sick of this shit! Trans people are NOT a "problem" nor are their lives any of your fucking business! All human beings are the children of God and should be treated with dignity and respect. That's what I learned growing up in the church...sort of. I was in the Deep South during the 60s & 70s, so at least I learned the truth at home, but I digress. All people just want to live their lives, but Trans people, I guess, aren't people in the small minds of bigots. I will NOT stay silent when so-called Christians or anyone denigrates and says negative and unkind things about the Trans community. If I could boost this 1000 times, I would.
Dozens of decades ago, an unnamed utility co wanted the unions gone, so they said to the workers, "If you get out of the union, you'll be promoted as you should be, & your career will finally take off. Promise." So everyone, to get anywhere, dropped out of the union. Ask if anything changed. Yes, it did...all for the worst, all voices removed, the 'upper 1%' as it was, became tyrants. The now mute had nowhere to go.
