And then there was the time many years back when I was inked for three semi-magical pages by the legendary Stan Drake (Juliet Jones, Kelly Green...) The subject matter and my pencils were fairly unremarkable, but Drakes' sure hand and elegant linework turned these into real treasures. I'd met Stan and his Kelly Green collaborator Leonard Starr years earlier, and had them sign my copies. Who knew he'd have to deal with me again a few years down the road! #comics #standrake #criticalmass
