When we heard the gears grinding, a friend of ours looked up the diagram, told us what we *might* have to order, then ended up replacing the old grease with some new grease! Mixer is as good as new and might last another 30-40 years!

Summer cooking tip: A quick way to "pull" pulled pork is to use your stand mixer. Cook your meat to 200F/93C internal temperature (I use a slow cooker), put the hot meat in the mixer bowl with the flat beater blade and turn it on the lowest setting. Mix until you get the texture you want. If you don't have a stand mixer, I have heard that a hand held mixer will work. Irgendwie habe ich das Gefühl ich werde langsam zu #Obsessiv was #Küchenmaschinen angeht. Letzten Monat ein hochwertiger #Standmixer, diesen Monat eine neue #Heißluftfritteuse und ich befürchte wenn neues Geld da ist bekommen wir einen elektrischen #Fleischwolf. Vielleicht schaffe ich es aber zu widerstehen, wenn ich nämlich so weiter mache passen wir bald nicht mehr in die Wohnung wegen den Geräten. Außerdem habe ich ja Einen mit Kurbel. Wäre trotzdem iwie Geil!

Meine Ausgangslage: Neuer #Standmixer mit Aufsetzklinge (die nicht in die Spülmaschine darf), ein Nutribullet Ultra, mein #Hummus ist jetzt cremig! Aber: Unter der Klinge ist ein schwer zugänglicher Bereich, ich kratze da mit Zahnstocher rum.
Ich habe nach Mini Hochdruckreiniger (wasser) gesucht, aber meine Wunschvorstellung ist anders.
Kann ich nicht einfach eine 12g Co2 Patrone zum Ausblasen dieser Stelle verwenden? Außer Softair Waffen habe ich da nichts gefunden. Tips? -

Has anyone with a KitchenAid stand mixer tried out the "Pastry Beater" head? (picture attached!) I'm interested in it because I always make pie crusts with the regular flat beater (after cutting butter into ~.5"/side cubes) but it still tends to leave large blobs of butter in the crust. I wonder if this would actually be any better, but I'm having a hard time trusting any long form reviews I find online.
Specifically I'm interested in whether it is *a significant improvement on the flat beater*, not whether it is fine on its own. I can tell it's fine on its own, but if it works about as well as the flat beater, there's no point in me buying it.
