Stamp albums I've got this week for cheap.

I love the appearance of the older ones... they also have the names of the previous owners written in the front which makes them seem tho' they were once treasured.

I just got two around an hour ago and upon quickly flicking through found this one with a clear cancellation mark from 1935.

Been on another #stamp buying binge!!

I use the second-hand app #vinted and I keep looking at newly posted stamp albums and have brought some really cheap.

I got one yesterday and another today each costing around £6 or so ea. They had been inherited so the buy had no idea of the value. Here is an album I brought today.

I saved it when I saw it at £15 and it was discounted for me an hour after to £10!!!

Yoo... brought more stamps.

£12 for a secondhand album with 16 pages (most of which full)... and a pile of stamps which has a fair few I'm very interested in adding to one of my existing collections.

The pile has a stamp from a series from Nazi Germany that I am mid way through collecting and a few UK derivatives of series from the 70s.

#Australian #Supercars legend Allan Moffat passed away today aged 83. Moffat won four Australian Touring Car Championships, four #Bathurst victories, six Sandown wins, & more than three decades of extraordinary #Motorsport achievement.

#Moffat, famously a #Ford man, had a longstanding rivalry & friendship with legendary #Holden (General Motors) driver, Peter #Brock.

He won Bathurst 1977 in an XC Falcon (pictured). In 1978, he drove the Cobra variant (like in the PMC), securing Pole position with a record time of 2:21.59 and a speed down Conrod strait of 159 mph, although ultimate forced to retire that race with a broken engine.
