#stammering — Public Fediverse posts

I started this a while ago and found it among lots of fragments in the notes on my phone. People who stammer are subjected to a lot of micro aggressions to make us stop stammering. People may believe they're well intended, but it's extremely unhelpful and could be seen as discrimination veiled in condescension. Disabled people have a right to be seen and disabled voices have a right to be heard. Just stop. ✋
