Welcome to Greenbelt. I've moved in with Mother to take care of her in her declining years. Events have been moved up a bit because of the exigent gall duct procedure; moving and hospitalization don't together.

The procedure went smoothly and Mother was wheeled into her hospital room chipper and alert (and as per usual amazing everyone that she's 96). My brother suggest that we sing "We Wish You A Merry Christmas". Family conference ensued.

It doesn’t rain, it pours. Doctor’s office called late yesterday afternoon after the furniture move, alarmed by Mother’s astronomically high LTP enzyme reading, and strongly recommended that we go to St. Alphonsus ER for a follow-up blood test.
