I've photographed these horses for many years. I haven't been by here in a few years, though, so hope they are still here. I hadn't realized how long-lived horses were until seeing these for more than a decade. :)
This is close to where one turns off towards New Brunswick.

One of my favourite St. Lawrence drive-bys, because of the old people taking time to enjoy the trail and the old guy is looking at me looking at him. :)
This is part of the drive that is still partially obstructed before clearing for a long while.
Southbound towards Quebec city, more farmland appears. Decades ago, the farmers planted trees to buffer the highway, which, unfortunately, have grown to obstruct a lot of the view.

The drive on the Trans Canada north of Quebec City is pretty while still along the river. The person is biking along a trail that runs along the river. One day, I'd like to stop a while and spend time here. I once lived on the other side of the river, farther to the right.

Low water levels ground boats at marinas along St. Lawrence River
The International Lake Ontario–St. Lawrence River Board said it would temporarily increase outflows from Lake Ontario this week to help recreational boaters on Lac Saint-Louis, southwest of Montreal, remove their watercraft for the season.
