I have de-napped after work thing, re-opened the window, and am now doing anything else but writing while I wait for fish to show up.

Spending too much of my writing time lately being too burned-out to write, but at least fishing causes me to make small amounts of progress.

I have opened the fishing window finally, but I have a work thing in ten minutes so I don't expect to do much, if any, fishing before that.

I spent 45 minutes on the phone with a friend, and before that I was eating breakfast.

I did get a nibble while composing this toot, so: one minnow!

It is after 8PM and my gaming partner is online, so I am officially done writing for the evening .

My total for today's #SSMinnow voyage is:

1 Pike
1 Carp
2 Trout
25 Minnows

And 2282 words for #DemonsAlliance, which is now at 25% complete.

A friend of mine called from Ireland a little over an hour ago, so I took a break to chat with him. And took a shower afterwards because I spent the call pacing to get in some steps.

Sat down at my computer again and wrote fast to catch a minnow that showed up. I'm at 4 minnows and no other fish, and thinking about relocating to Pretend Coffee Shop.

So no more fish in my last hour. My total for today is 1 trout, 6 minnows, and a lot of miscellaneous junk. 😂

I wrote 1100 words of Demon's Alliance, and am content, given the various non-writing chores I dealt with today. #SSMinnow

Aha! My first catch of the day! A minnow, of course. #SSMinnow #OneTrueFish

So far this morning, I have:

* Started first load of laundry for the bedding
* Ran robot vacuum fren
* Dropped Lut at the oncology clinic for his monthly treatment
* Taken a 45 minute walk for exercise
* Picked up meds
* Started 2nd load of bedding
* Showered

But now I have, like, an hour or so before I need to pick Lut up, so TIME FOR FISHING on the #SSMinnow!

*stares at line, waiting for a nibble*

I am eating breakfast now and then I need to take Lut to the clinic. And probably go for a walk for exercise.

But after that! I will board the #SSMinnow for FISHIES!

So my break for aerobics-and-shower turned into a break for socially-distanced-visit-then-aerobics-and-shower. And then I had dinner and flopped for an hour and half because that was a lot.

But now, it is time to re-board the #SSMinnow and catch MOAR MINNOWS, the one and only true fish.

*catches another minnow while writing this update*

I have caught a carp! My faith in the omnipresent minnow is shook. Could other fish also be real???

I am up to 13 minnows and beginning to doubt the existence of other fish. All is minnow. Minnow reigns supreme. #SSMinnow

It's fishing day!

I slept poorly and woke tired. But I've eaten breakfast and now it is time to FISH!

Either gonna work on the current scene for Demon's Alliance, or the notes for its sequel, depending on which I can manage better.
