It's Fishing Friday!
I don't know if anyone else still fishes in #SoulScribes on Friday, but I've opened it up anyway.
I am at a complicated scene in Alien Peacelords. I've been looking forward to it for the whole book, but it's tricky to manage the segues in it between conversational topics.

So I have #SoulScribes' fishing window open, and I am poking at it every time I see a fish pop up. At 293 words for today so far. Which is not impressive, but it's 293 more words than I'd have otherwise. I'll take it.
I expect to also take a nap later, but we'll see.

Today has been low-key for me. I spent this morning playing a *new* dress-up game (one dress-up game is insufficient). Over the course of the afternoon so far, I've written 1100 words of Demon's Alliance. The spirit games in #SoulScribes remain good for my word count.

I have written, um, 1400 words, including finishing that one extra-long scene in Demon's Alliance, yay. I've started the next scene, too.
I've been playing with my spirit in #SoulScribes. The spirit games are good for getting me to Just Write, especially at this stage where they're not so intimidating and I can win them all pretty easily/quickly, instead of each game requiring concerted effort and knowing what I'm going to write ahead of time.

My "meh, I don't want to do anything" is even stronger than usual today, but I have relocated to Pretend Coffee Shop anyway.
Gonna play hide-and-seek with my spirit in #SoulScribes and see if I can finish up the Demon's Alliance scene that I stopped near the end of about two weeks ago, in favor of working on the outline for Angel's Grace.

One of my favorite parts about fishing is that the site won't log me out while I'm fishing. 😂
(my other favorite part is just ignoring it until a fish nibbles. >_> )
