I have finally read all Programs in the Shadowrun 5.5 fan mod document, and I understood the rules about them. Decking in this variation of the rulset is - at least from reading thoroughly and playing a few scenarios in my head - the best of any Shadowrun edition I've played (SR 2,3,4,5, Anarchy, 6). I think I want to buy EnterElysium a beer.
Of course, having fun is the ultimate goal and if a player doesn't like the rules then that's that.

I am a rule book skimmer, not a reader. And I am also a looking it up during the game guy.So what happened is I bought a lot of #Shadowrun 6 books, and we played so inconsistently the last 3 years, I thought we just needed to find our groove.
No. Rules are missing, highlights are on catchphrase instead of rules crunch or exceptions, I dislike Edge...
I have bought a lot of books for 6e before I realized that #sr6 ist just not what I want it to be.

List of new playable species in #Shadowrun6 according to the Schattenkompendium. There are also metaspapients like the Centaurs in the book, but they'd be playable only with some balancing work to be done I reckon.#sr6 #pnpde #Shadowrun

Good morning.
Does anyone have #Shadowrun6 #sr6 YouTube videos where people talk about the game's mechanics?
I have a game session in 7 days where I would like to, let's not say shine, but at least appear marginally competent. :)

Grade: A, would do it again. No plus because the GM prep I did was not thorough enough, I forgot that tokens are an important part of ANY game in @[email protected] . I will try to do better next time. Computer, insert hashtags and end report thread.

Even the roleplaying was very good and in-character talk was at times hilarious and still not silly / over-the-top.
All things considered, for a game where the players didn't know each other very weel, nor the characters their peers, it was a very, very good game.

I am happy that I upfront told the players that it would be a bumpy ride, because it was. I am also happy to report that all the players, @[email protected] , @[email protected] , @[email protected] , @[email protected] , and @[email protected] , were very patient and attentive. #ttrpg #sr6 #Shadowrun
