That was a first. Rode my bike around the corner, saw a burning garbage truck, rode home and grabbed a fire extinguisher. First time I've ever discharged one. Someone had put a grill out on the street and evidently the propane tank still had some fuel left in it.
(This is not a political metaphor; I only wish our political trash fires were so easily solved.)

I accidentally canceled my internet a day early, but it meant a chance to visit the lovely Squirrel Hill branch of the library and Commonwealth Coffee once more. Squirrel Hill really is My Neighborhood. I wish I could just take it with me.

Any recommendations for a #csa with pickup in/near #squirrelhill in #pittsburgh for 2023? I first used Penn's Corner, which stopped during the pandemic; their web site implies CSA existence now but doesn't allow signup, so maybe vapor or maybe too early. Last year I used Food Rescue 412's "ugly CSA", which isn't running this year. A friend recommended Cherry Valley Organics, also not running in 2023. I can order specific produce from e.g. Harvie Farms, but enjoy the curated mix of a CSA box.
