#Feb01 #day4 Most memorable use of sound?
I'm going mainstream on this one and pick the Ring-a ring song in #SquidGame season 2
The contrast between the absolute silence of the players, the ominous feeling in their hearts (except for Thanos and his buddy 😂!) and the joyful children's song is a pure masterpiece.

Binged Squid Game 2 over new years. It's been getting middling reviews, but I liked it a lot. Some non-spoilery FYIs.
Note 1: It ends on a cliffhanger. This has annoyed some viewers. The next season is coming in 2025.
Note 2: There is a trans character. She is portrayed in a positive light, and treated with kindness and respect by the good characters. She is, however, played by a cis male actor.

In reality this is a half season. The story isn't complete. Nevertheless I liked as much as the first season, even though both have a gender imbalance when it comes to characters. If it were any other un-hyped k-drama, I would have dropped it at episode 2.

Excellent cast for this 2nd season. I was positively impressed by the transgender character, interpreted by #ParkSungHoon, and the hilarious Thanos, interpreted by former #BigBang's member #TOP. I can't believe the director #HwangDongHyuk faced criticism for casting him, since he was convicted for marijuana use. He absolutely nailed the role!

#Day30 Was 2024 a good drama year for you?
Yes, definitely! And it wrapped up beautifully yesterday with the last episode of #SquidGameS2
Though it's not really a full season, they split up one season in two parts, and the first 2 episodes were a bit slow and boring, it finished with some unexpected plot twists.
