@jordan @kyle If looking for new dumb TV, you can get commercial displays rated to run 16/7 or even 24/7 at prices not that much higher than spy TVs.

They are basically office computer monitors but used to display ads and notices for long periods of time so build quality is also much better.

The 1967-68 UK TV series Man in a Suitcase takes the basic ITC action-adventure formula and adds a hardboiled flavour, real toughness, grittiness, plus seedy downmarket glamour. And more than a hint of film noir. The best of all the ITC series.

Peter Leslie’s The Cornish Pixie Affair, from 1967, the fifth original novel based on the TV spy series The Girl from UNCLE starts with a murder in a circus (a setting that is used extremely well). Statuettes of pixies play a role. Enjoyable.
