My UFL Today’s Picks (Week 10, 2026 Season)

Well my football friends the UFL season is almost over, but the postseason is just around the corner. As of right now, there are only 2 playoff spots clinched so far. Which means there are still some contenders out there (Like D.C., Birmingham, and even Louisville) Now because there are too many scenarios, the last 2 spots may have to wait until the final day of the regular season. There are 2 games that day, and then everything should be settled at that point. The 2 teams that have already clinch a playoff spot (Orlando and St. Louis) are just playing out the string to get ready for there playoff matchup. There are 3 teams that have been eliminated from postseason contention, all with the same record at this time at 3-6 (Dallas, Houston, and Columbus). Well there is always next year for those teams. This weekend’s worth of games should be exciting, and this season has really been a great season. However, I am looking forward to the playoffs this season. I still am going with the theory of a new champion will emerge this season. Well it is now time for my picks:

Friday Night Football on FOX Sports:

There you have it as my UFL picks are up and on the board here for your viewing pleasure. As the Regular Season concludes, it is time for the Playoffs and then the UFL Championship Game (really The United Bowl) Well enjoy the games and I will be back with a playoff preview soon.

My UFL Today’s Picks (Week 9, 2026 Season)

Well I hoped you enjoyed the action from this past weekend’s UFL Football action. I am stuck at the SEC Baseball tournament so I will not be able to give you a full preview of this weekend’s games. But there is at least one team with all the momentum in heading into the last 2 weeks in hopes of clinching a spot of the playoffs. The Birmingham Stallions (4-4) are back at .500 for the 1st time since early April. Plus things are starting to fall in place for the Stallions. However, they have a lot of cleaning up to do on the offensive side of the ball. The Stallions have 2 games left (Columbus and Houston) and as long as they win, there is no doubt that they will be in the playoffs. Right now, Orlando is playing the best football in the UFL, at 6-2 they are the first team to clinch a playoff spot. They have a potential playoff preview this weekend vs. D.C. Defenders Friday Night. A Potential United Bowl Championship meeting down the road? Speaking of the D.C. Defenders what happened to the defending UFL Champions the last 2 weeks? They have unfortunately let Louisville Kings beat them twice and it could prove costly. Although if the Defenders are going to defend there UFL title, they better start winning quickly here. There are 3 playoff spots left to be clinch in the next 2 weeks. I guess we will get our best football the rest of the way. Now for the picks:

There you have it as my picks got on the board somehow, well I will try to sneak some football action while at the baseball tournament that I am covering (sorry working). I will be back next week when it is back to normal.

My UFL Today’s Picks (Week 8, 2026 Season)

Oh my we only have 3 weeks of the regular season, and yet we still do not have a single team that has clinch a playoff spot. However, the chances are pretty good this week. We have 3 teams sitting at 5-2 that have a great opportunity to punch their ticket to the playoffs. The three teams that I am talking about are the Orlando Storm, D.C. Defenders, and St Louis BattleHawks. The D. C. Defenders got beat by the Louisville Kings (now 3-4, who been playing well as of late) and now have to play them again back to back weeks on the schedule. So this may not be an easy game for the Defenders. Another back to back games is about to take place with the Birmingham Stallions (3-4) and the floundering Columbus Aviators (2-5). By the way, both the Aviators and Gamblers are in must win situations in order to have even a remote chance in getting a playoff spot. At this point, they would be the 1st 2 teams out of the playoff race after this weekend concludes. There is a 3 way tie for the final playoff spot between the Birmingham Stallions, Louisville Kings, and Dallas Renegades all at 3-4. As of right now, believe it or not the Birmingham Stallions who just about everyone had written off for this season is in primed position to go to the playoffs. However, the winning cannot stop for the Stallions as they beat the Renegades and broke there hearts in Overtime. So the last 3 weeks are worth watching, and if you have not tuned in at all this season. You will be fortunate to tune in to some playoff enticing action on the football field. Orlando Storm (2-0) vs. Louisville Kings (0-2)

The Orlando Storm have had a fanatic start to their respective season. The Louisville Kings are dragging their feet, but they have a lot of underutilized talent.

Things don’t need to be complicated on Friday night. Louisville is a hungry team that will do anything to pick up this win against Orlando (who is beatable) in Week 3.

Watch for Orlando’s defense to cause havoc for the kings. Both teams should have great field positions over the course of this game, and the UFL rulebook encourages a lot of scoring.

Best Bet: OVER 39.5 Total Points (-115)!

Birmingham Stallions (1-0) vs. Houston Gamblers (0-1)

The Birmingham Stallions face the Houston Gamblers tonight at 5 PM CT! Watch on the NFL Network!

I don’t see the defenses holding up that well tonight. Long story short is that these teams are out to prove they are better than last week’s performance. I do worry about the Gamblers defense since the Stallions had 38 minutes of possession last week.

The Stallions have their quarterback in Matt Corral and have built around him. Houston is going to be risking it a lot tonight, and that will help push the total over.

Best Bet: OVER 44 Total Points (-115)!

Orlando Storm vs. Louisville Kings: Game Preview & Predictions

Orlando Storm (1-0) (-145 ML) vs. Louisville Kings (0-1) (+115 ML)

Kickoff at 7 PM CT! Watch on ESPN!

The Louisville Kings are off to a rough start this season. They got off on the wrongfoot in their last game, and this time, Orlando is prepared to battle it out at home.

There are some turnover concerns for Kings starting quarterback Jason Bean, and the run game has yet to get going. Lucky Jackson at the wide receiver position has been the lone bright spot for the Louisville King’s offense. Orlando has a sturdy defense upfront and showed they will be a tough out for the rest of the league in their first game.

Jack Plummer for the Orlando Storm gelled well in his first game behind center at the starting quarterback position. He still has some things to clean up in the pocket. I like the talent level of both of these teams, but Orlando has the edge tonight. This game spells out a lot of running clock, and the defenses will look to put themselves in some pretty advantageous positions tonight to stay fresh for the long-haul.

Birmingham Stallions vs. Louisville Kings: Game Analysis and Betting Tips

Birmingham Stallions (-250) vs. Louisville Kings (+195)!

Nothing is safe in the first week of the UFL. We have professional football rolling back around, and it’s fantastic!

The UFL shook up the league this season, rearranging teams and behold the Louisville Kings has arrived. The Stallions have consistently been a well-rounded team. They have a lot of options on offense against a Louisville team that will be figuring this out on the fly.

The arm strength and field vision will be on the side of the Stallions quarterbacks. It’s hard to say if the coach will only use one quarterback the whole game or change things up. This is a difficult game for the Louisville Kings but a great opportunity nonetheless.

The Stallions have a lot of ways to beat this Louisville team, so I believe the lion share of the points scored will come from them tonight. We have seen the Stallions defense fade late in the second half, so we will see how well they are built tonight in case of a surge from Louisville’s offense.

Best Bet: OVER 42.5 Total Points (-120)!
