The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King Episode 1 Impressions
When I started the episode, I couldn't figure out if I like the art style of this one or not lol. It quickly grew on me thought, and the fight scene, albeit brief, was cool.
When the big reveal happens, I love Sera's reactions lol. The deadpan servant is great too. The flashback/dream was a bit drawn out though. That ending LMAO
Looking forward to seeing another episode or 2 to see how this one starts to play out.

The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch Episode 1 Impressions
2nd witch anime for me this season, with this seemingly the complete opposite of what I watched with Witch Hat Atelier. Slapstick comedy is strong with this one.
The library sequence had me chuckling. Did I just watch our MC kiss a cat on the butthole? This might be a first for me LMAO.
If this show continues to be strong with the slapstick while also forming an interesting narrative, I can see myself having fun with this one. I just hope it doesn't lose the dumb humor.

Yowayowa Sensei Episode 1 Impressions
Hiwamura is adorable, I can say that much. That's about the most I can say positive about this first episode.
As someone who likes ecchi humor, this one is falling flat most of the time. I keep hoping I'll laugh out loud, but it's just not happening.
Yeah, I'm bailing on this one. Not bothering with a second episode.

Forget cute girls doing cute things, this is quirky girls doing quirky things lol. The show looks about normal for what I expect of this type of anime.

Forget cute girls doing cute things, this is quirky girls doing quirky things lol. The show looks about normal for what I expect of this type of anime.

Cute Girls Doing Cute Things.... WITH ALCOHOL? Uhm, yes please! Give me all the episodes! Love the aesthetic of this anime.

My Ribdiculous Reincarnation Episode 1 Impressions
This show has a really nice color palette and aesthetics. I was genuinely surprised.
The show itself is absurd AF, and was not what I was expecting. The problem with the premise and these constantly ridiculous reincarnations is that I don't know if I want to watch a whole season of this or not.
This is going to live and die by ensuring each episode maintains the same level of humor. I'll see if it can manage or not after a couple more.

This show doesn't look the best, but it's obviously intentional. Thought this is was going to be an ecchi comedy, but looks like a sweet and funny rom-com.

Rooster Fighter Episode 1 Impressions
Well it is as absurd as I expected, but it's not really clicking for me. Sometimes this show looks cool, and sometimes it suddenly doesn't, mostly with some character designs.
I'll be honest, I kind of finished this episode feeling disappointed. I knew it would be dumb, just didn't think it would fail to be entertainingly dumb. Pass

Gals Can’t Be Kind to Otaku!? Episode 1 Impressions
The character designs are very nice up close, and I like how the gals look. But when you see them from further way, their look quality takes a noticeable dip at times.

Always a Catch! Episode 1 Impressions
Looks pretty good, nothing amazing though. Character's aren't all that unique in look, but personality wise I do like them.
The show is pretty humorous, but it's not always landing for me, as it feels like it is holding back. It's being goofy at times, but the joke setups keep having me expect it to be a bit more ridiculous than it turns out to be.
I'll give the series a couple more episodes to see if it finds its stride, but this could end up a binge later show.

New Rumiko Takahashi adaptation, let's go. First off it already looks great and captures the Takahashi style. Opening is a banger too.
Well this is one of the more interesting Takahashi setups I've seen in awhile. I never got into Inuyasha, and Rin-Ne was pretty mid, but this one has me super intrigued. I like the characters for sure.
I need to check out a couple more episodes, but I'm hoping this holds up,

Kusunoki's Garden of Gods Episode 1 First Impressions
Well this is a cool show. Kusunoki moves into a home left empty after a family member passes, and cleanses the evil. This brings a god in, and other yokai. I like how chill it is.
The animation at times is not the best, but the character designs are nice overall. Yamagami is adorable when he gets small, and the 3 martens are cute.
I am looking forward to checking out more of this one, as it could be the go to slice of life anime each week this season.

Haibara’s Teenage New Game+ Episode 1 First Impressions
Maybe it's my outlook on life, and memories of my teens, but I can't say I connect with the MC in anyway. The show looks pretty good overall, but not really feeling any of the characters here.
I spent this whole episode kind of just staring at the show like =_=. Dude just gets fit and changes up his look a bit, and he's already hanging with the "popular crowd". Just YAWN.
This is 100% not my type of romance show, and I will not be continuing this one. I was so happy when it was finally over.

It's funny how the Otome isekai shows continue to surprise me more than the standard fare cheat power ones. It's obviously going to go off script from the game, but I'm intrigued by if this show's scenarios allows for it, or if there will be repercussions for not following the script.

I was ecpecting this show to not amount to much, but it's made LOL a few times already. Also looks decently good animation wise for it being another isekai show.
The character designs aren't anything special, and it's got the videogame style screen and guide. So not the most unique show. Still if it can keep being pretty fun, I could see this as a binge watch down the road. Highly doubt this will be a weekly watch though. We'll see after a few episodes

The Food Diary of Miss Maid Episode 1 First Impressions
So far this first episode is pretty cute. Suzume is an adorable maid, and I love seeing her get excited over food. I also like they made her grandmother not look like a feeble old lady. It's nice to see how the grandmother keeps pushing Suzume to be honest with her thoughts.
Slice of life and food is a winning combination, then throw in a cute maid. Hell yeah! Pretty much a turn off your brain and enjoy the food.
Has a good chance to be a weekly watch, but will definitely be something I finish down the road otherwise.
