Her husband wasn’t able to leave the country after being granted voluntary departure in 2018 because she was diagnosed w/uterine #cancer. Meanwhile, 15 days from now, all new applicants will pay £1035 per year as #NHS surcharge. That's upfront contribution to NHS even if they don't need to get any medical help during their stay. This is on top of the visa fee of ~£2K, for 30 months #visa.
They still pay 33% of monthly salary as tax and NI personal allowances each month.
