After our landing we made our way to the hotel. As we had 2 days off over the weekend I made my way back to the airport try to catch a flight to Kansas City to visit @jillianmarisa and @user47
Saw a rainbow over the airfield, visited the spotter lounge in D part of the Terminal, found snoopy and met some great Delta pilots trading their trading cards for stickers of my aircraft.

Is extending #activitypub by adding new object types not included in it is a good way of doing things or not? That's the path I've chosen currently but I'm not so sure... For example when creating a spot that has some spot data I'm just using a new object type
Spotinstead ofNotebecause I didn't feel like it fits the usecase. TheSpotobject includes frequency of the spot, the DX callsign, a human readable summary, etc. I don't feel like it should by design be compatible with Mastodon for example so it doesn't federate too far and spams innocent peeps' timelines. I'm thinking relays for spots and only spots so it stays separate from Mastodon. Is that a good way of thinking or should I consider something else?

Shmiffy introduced herself to the world with her debut EP and played shows with her band all throughout 2024 & 2025. But what comes after “Blood, Shred & Tears” you may ask?
Exactly: “Riff, Laugh, Love” !
“Sticky Notes” (released in May 2025) was the first single off of this new EP, which will come out at the end of 2025. It gave you a glimpse of what you can expect from these new songs that Shmiffy has ben working on. More riffs, more vulnerability and a more mature and confident approach to things.
To celebrate the release of “Riff, Laugh, Love”, Shmiffy invites you all to join the coolest party in town (siiike – it’s actually a rock show, but that’s basically the same thing)!
