  1. I used to think an average person who isn’t an athlete could only jump as high as the point their hand reaches when they stretch their arm upward.

    But that’s not actually correct. 😅

    Even an untrained person can usually jump several inches above their standing reach. The difference between your standing reach and your highest reach while jumping is called your vertical jump. 📏

    Now I’m curious: How many inches or centimetres can you jump above your standing reach? 🤔
