  2. `We find that combining RNA-seq perturbation-based networks with VIPER (Virtual Inference of Protein Activity by Enriched Regulon analysis) accurately captures splicing factor activity as modulated by multiple regulatory layers. This approach integrates splicing factor regulation into a single score derived solely from exon inclusion signatures, allowing functional interpretation of heterogeneous conditions.`

  16. A cold North East wind today (over 20kts) so we did a quick trip to our shipping container, then Jane has been #splicing the first #dyneema main mast chainplate loop (much harder splicing 12mm than 9mm).
After some writing for work I've been working on wiring diagrams (learning and using #QElectroTech). I like that I can pretty easily create basic custom elements such as our Batteries, #Victron boxes etc.

"Most importantly, by proving that the evolutionarily-conserved RNA core of splicing machines can recognize small molecules specifically, our work provides a solid basis for the rational design of splicing modulators not only against bacterial and organellar introns, but also against the human spliceosome, which is a validated drug target for the treatment of congenital diseases and cancers." #spliceosome #splicing #intron #introns #transcription #ribonucleicAcid #RNA
