News / Splatfest: Final results are in for Splatoween!
We now have final results for the #Splatoween #Splatfest that took place over the weekend! Without any further delay, let's go through each category.
#TeamWizard had a strong start with leading both the Sneak Peek (90p) and Popularity (70p) categories, where they got 33.72% and a massive 65.35% respectively (that has to be one of the highest I've seen). For second place in those categories, #TeamNinja was able to sneak in with 33.68% (very close!) and 21.52% respectively.
After that, Team Ninja got first in the remaining categories: Open (120p), Pro (120p) and Tri-Colour (180p). They got 33.61%, 34.11% and 34.38% respectively in those categories. #TeamKnight was able to get second in both the Open and Pro categories with 33.53% and 33.93% respectively. However, Team Wizard managed to get second in the Tri-Colour category with 33.31%.
Adding all the points together, we can now reveal the final results. Team Knight wasn't able to fight through the 85% of people who voted for other teams and ended up with 120p, meaning that they came last. Team Wizard was able to come up with a strong start and ended up being the most popular team, but it wasn't enough in the end with 250p. Finally, Team Ninja managed to sneak into every single category, by getting second in the first two categories and winning the next three, leaving them with 500p and being the winner of this Splatfest!

We're officially halfway through this weekend's #Splatfest! We'll have #Splatoween halftime results available for you shortly, but Tri-Colour Battles are now available.
Unlike previous Splatfests, Tri-Colour is happening on two maps this time! It'll be Scorch Gorge and Mincemeat Metalworks.
Also, as a quick reminder, Daylight Savings is ending an hour from now, so we'll be returning to the GMT timezone for posts.

Nintendo isn't out of unique themes yet, since they've just announced a new #Splatfest theme for #Splatoween!
It'll take place from the 26th of October at 1am BST and will end on the 28th at 12am GMT (reminder that Daylight Savings is happening on the 27th).
The theme for this one is: What would you be in a fantasy world?
Wizard, Knight or Ninja are the options for this Splatfest. I think I already know what I'm going to be!

Right now, the results of the poll I put out at like 11pm seems to be going in favour of no spoiler, but for now, I will still use one here.
The #Splatoween #Splatfest results are now available, here's the teams who won in each category.

- Sneak Peek 7p: 32.55% | 33.00% | 34.45%
- Popularity 8p: 19.32% | 17.66% | 63.02%
- Open 12p: 33.11% | 33.62% | 33.27%
- Pro 12p: 33.91% | 35.22% | 30.97%
- Tri-Colour 18p: 32.73% | 33.46% | 33.81%
Without any further delay, the winner of this Splatfest is Team Ghost! They racked up 33p, which was achieved by winning the Sneak Peek, being the most popular team by far and coming out ahead in Tri-Colour battles.
Team Skeleton got 24p, winning the Open and Pro categories.
Team Zombie got 0p.
This Splatfest marks an end to Shiver's winning streak for 5 Splatfests (1/4-3/4, 6/5-8/5, 15/7-17/7, 12/8-14/8, 9/9-11/9).
I was a bit surprised to find that Team Zombie had more players than Team Skeleton. I don't know if it was just me, but it felt as if I was going against Team Skeleton more than Team Zombie. The polls we ran also show that Skeleton had a much bigger voting advantage to Zombie.

Tri-Colour battles are now officially available. The map for this #Splatfest is Brinewater Springs. I'm interested to see how that works out.
