There is nothing to resign from, and there is no way to guarantee that he would not run for office again. He could swear on a stack of money that he wasn't going to run; he'd run anyway.

Und wo ich gerade dabei bin, möchte ich auch BAG MAN empfehlen, den anderen Podcast von Maddow. Der ist zwar schon ein paar Jahre älter, aber ebenso interessant wie aktuell.
Es geht um Spiro Agnew, der Richard Nixons Vizepräsident war. Der Name Bag Man rührt daher, dass Agnew das Schmiergeld gleich taschenweise in seinem Amtssitz im Weißen Haus entgegennahm.
