Sometimes people can pleasantly surprise you. I met with my spine surgeon today for a 5 month post op follow up.
Based on the last visit, where he was very rushed and curt, I had steeled myself for a confrontation today. PT doesn’t work for me, and with my gastric stimulator, I can’t use the external spine stimulator provided.
But he was completely understanding that I’m listening to my body and doing what I can! I am supposed to limit twisting of the body for a while longer. I had thought I was past the restriction.
And I got a cautious approval to try yoga, but to limit to what won’t hurt me. Very excited to dabble in this! 😁
What a treat to have today’s visit!
