Once inside, she realizes the guy she imagined as the lead is not her 1st love, but the chaebol who wrote hate comments on her story IRL. While trying to figure out why, there are a lot ridiculous happenings. Some sexy scenes you thought you might see are hilariously avoided. Nothing like the original series - designed to be campy & cartoony, the leads pull it off well.
It seems this "transport" takes place in the original story just as she's realizing things about her 1st love & the CEO IRL. It does help push the narrative just a bit about why her feelings change - but it's not tied closely to the original. 2 episodes were a good length for some fun - it is not serious in any way & cannot & should not be compared to "No Gain." It's just a silly bonus!

I do agree that "No Gain, No Love" is one of the best this year. Its use of sound effects is so perfect - just one of the things I love about it.
I would watch "No Gain, No Love" before the spinoff because then you'll have an intro to the characters in "SpiceUpOurLove"
