We checked out a trail that we had been driving past many times. The sky was overcast and the canopy was tight so light levels were low. I wanted to travel light so no tripod or macros lens for the DSLR. Luckily the iPhone takes great shots.

🥾 #Hiked a new-to-me trail yesterday. The sun was bright, the snow was gone & the river was running fast. Walked 8KM along the #MillRunTrail by the #SpeedRiver in Cambridge (ON) & spotted the following birds:
Buffleheads
Hooded Mergansers
Common Mergansers
Mallards
Lesser Scaups
Canada Geese
Ruddy Ducks
Flicker
Downy
Red Tailed Hawk
Blue Jays
Red Winged Blackbirds
Grackles
Song Sparrow
Golden Kinglet
