  1. I met someone at a festival who hadn't seen me in a year. One of her questions was, "Your speech used to be much better, has anything happened?".
    A fair question to ask, but a painful reminder that things are getting in the wrong direction very rapidly.
    And I still don't have a real plan what to do when it reaches a full disability level.

    My sibilants are strange of shape.
    Until I heard myself on tape
    I’d never really noticed it.
    My friends will say “a little bit,”
    When asked if they can even tell.
    The therapist was nice and well-
    Intentioned, but I was a kid.
    I wanted to quit… so I did.
