📖 Different inorganic to organic nitrogen ratios (IN:ON) ➡️ Ecosystem stability 🟰 Effects❓
Results:
1️⃣ IN:ON ratio showed no significant effect on community stability.
2️⃣ IN decreased species richness more than ON.#DominantSpecies | #Grassland | #NitrogenDeposition | #NitrogenComposition | #PopulationStability | #SpeciesAsynchrony

Ge Hou et al. found that the #DominantSpecies predominated #CommunityStability by promoting the community #DominantSpeciesStability (DSS) and #SpeciesAsynchrony in the #AlpineGrasslands on the northern #TibetanPlateau. Mean-while, community species dominance contributed to the DSS. Protecting locally dominant species can stabilize the ecosystem functions of alpine grasslands.
