Nearly done the series, but much respect to the puppeteers who worked the Andorians antennae.
Very nuanced work, moving them perfectly along with the dialogue and tone of sentence. 2005, so I don't 'think' it was CGI. -

This is really cool…Adam Savage shows off an original Tik Tok costume from “Return to Oz”. I attended a screening of the movie hosted by Brian Henson (who supervised a lot of the effects) in NYC years ago and was lucky enough to sit with one of the puppeteers on the film. The Blob (1988) is sorely underrated. Fun, subversive, and with marvelously goopy FX by 21 year-old wunderkind Tony Gardner.
For many of the attacks, the blob is a silk quilt whose ravioli-sized pockets are filled with a gelatinous food additive. It's pretty great.

What would #VR look like if applied to real-world tooling, like the software applications?
Who here has seen the movie "Minority Report"? It features a holographic #UI. Did you know it was real? It wasn't CGI added in post - a #SpecialFX studio used existing 3D projectors and VR game wands to have actor Tom Cruise interact with it.
That is what I would like to see. Buttons. Gauges. Infinite screens upon which to place information. Lift the physical limitation of the computer screen.
