The Blob (1988) is sorely underrated. Fun, subversive, and with marvelously goopy FX by 21 year-old wunderkind Tony Gardner.
For many of the attacks, the blob is a silk quilt whose ravioli-sized pockets are filled with a gelatinous food additive. It's pretty great.

Who here has seen the movie "Minority Report"? It features a holographic #UI. Did you know it was real? It wasn't CGI added in post - a #SpecialFX studio used existing 3D projectors and VR game wands to have actor Tom Cruise interact with it.
That is what I would like to see. Buttons. Gauges. Infinite screens upon which to place information. Lift the physical limitation of the computer screen. -
