    If you're considering to speak out under your real name, or to become a #whistleblower: don't do it in a haphazard fashion, don't stumble in.

    Even just researching on the matter may leave traces and put you at considerable risk. Never use devices or internet connections provided by your employer.

    Do your initial research from home, but download and exclusively use the Tor Browser for it.

    Only then:

    1. Gain an overview by digging into the Tech Worker Handbook. Get clarity about what you want to achieve.

    2. Read about the tech side of whistleblowing, and find out more about SecureDrop

    If you work in #government and believe that 2.) is an overkill, please consider what your family or significant other will have to go through, when you are taking on an #adversary like that, foolishly unprepared.
