Cat visitor has a new black collar with white paw prints and a black bell. The similarly-patterned green one lost its bell a week or two ago. They couldn’t just take his nuts away already, that would really be something. I’m now Lola’s bodyguard while they’re both in the garden. Old girl should be able to patrol her own path, plants and lawn.

It’s about high time cities across America start implementing mandatory spay/neuter ordinances. Our city shelter has taken in 45 animals since Monday, an astronomical increase since COVID. It’s beyond time. The writing is on the wall.
