I've neglected the barbecue all year! With heat here again, I've finally gone out (it's six or seven steps) and gave it a good heat-blast, scrape, oiling and wipe down.
That clears the way to throw a #spatchcocked chicken on there later this afternoon, with a bunch of garden tarragon. Like a ridiculous amount of tarragon.
Besides being a faster and very tasty way to cook a chicken, it gives one the opportunity to throw around the word "spatchcocked" all afternoon, which is fun.

Sunday BBQ time, got this #spatchcocked chicken all ready for the charcoal grill, and a thick bed of tarragon leaves for it to roast upon. Some herbed potatoes in foil ready too.
