I have to say that lately I began to dislike the way #WebDev & #SPAs treat data fetching logic:
1) Build services that provide functionality (makes sense)
2) Build API that wraps those services and streamline the communication protocol for the UI (why can't we do things in one way in the first place? But ok)
3) Build UI that talks to the API (here we have duplication of code/effort)The (2) and (3) are often separate efforts that need to pretend to fit. And that has tons of issues.
