Come on with it! I love how #Spanish sounds. And in #New #Mexico. I can't believe how fast many #Hispanics speak! And it's called #Spanglish. That's right, I could keep up, not really, but those few words. LOL. I took 3 years in high school. It would probably come back pretty good if I was immersed.

I made #vegan ‘meatballs’ for dinner last night and it reminded me of the time my friend, following a head injury, was living in Spain and somehow confused ‘albondigas’ (meatballs) for gracias (thankyou) and spent several months saying ‘meatballs’ instead of ‘thanks’. His partner found it so funny she didn’t tell him and he attributed the confused looks on people’s faces to his bad accent.
