I saw the #Spamalot touring Broadway show the other night, and it was amazing! So damn funny! Highly recommend you see it if they come through your city!

Man kann nicht überall gleichzeitig sein. Deshalb springt bei der Vorbereitung und beim Soundcheck auch ein Tontechniker auf der Bühne herum, richtet hier ein Mikrofon nach, stellt dort noch etwas ein, hilft manchmal bei der Verständigung mit den Künstlern. Und hält immer Funkkontakt zum FOH 🙂

Premieren sind jedes Mal etwas Besonderes. Und dann gibt es von den Mitwirkenden kleine Geschenke, Süßigkeiten oder Glücksbringer. Heute (und morgen) Abend gibt es Monty Pythons "Spamalot", eine satirische Verballhornung der Artus-Saga als Musical.

Bevor ein #Musical losgeht, muss für jeden Sänger ein Mikroport fertig gemacht werden. Die Maskenbildnerin klebt die kleinen Mikrofone dann geschickt im Gesicht fest oder versteckt sie unter der Perücke und verlegt das dünne Kabel unter der Kleidung. So können wir am Mischpult alles gut ausbalancieren. Je mehr Künstler gleichzeitig auf der Bühne sind, desto herausfordernder ist das für den #Tontechniker. Für unser aktuelles Stück - Monty Pythons #Spamalot sind es immerhin 22 Stück. Am 22.11. ist #Premiere !

The Broadway revival of "Monty Python's Spamalot" has set a closing date of Sunday, April 7 after a 24 week run. A national tour will be mounted to launch in Fall 2025.

Jonathan Bennett is set to make his Broadway debut in the revival of "Spamalot" beginning Jan. 23, taking over the role of Sir Robin from Michael Urie. Bennett will remain with the show through April 28. Urie will join Sutton Foster in a limited run of "Once Upon a Mattress" from Jan. 24-Feb. 4.

Je sors de #Spamalot au #ThéâtreDeParis, mis en scène par Pef pour la seconde fois (après Bobino il y a 10 ans). C’est génial. J’ai pleuré de rire. L’adaptation est totalement up-to-date, les références s’enchaînent parfois sans qu’on ait le temps de respirer. L’orchestre est complètement dans le mood (je voyais le pianiste de ma place, il était entre la transe et la crise de rire). Énorme coup de cœur pour la Dame du lac, Lauren Van Kempen, qui envoit du pâté (enfin, du Spam 💁🏼‍♂️) 😻😻😻😻😻😻

An egg per person

Two tablespoons of flour

A thick slice or two of pineapple per person

As much milk as you want to make gravy

While biscuits bake, cook other items and set aside until all done:

Fry spam, crisp and brown

Fry pineapple in spam grease

Fry eggs in grease, best done medium or harder

Make gravy in grease with milk and flour

Serve

Gain four pounds but worth it!
