Mars is a dynamic world, and having eyes on station continuously allows us to learn a lot watching transitory events. That capability is hanging by a (hopefully sturdy for now) thread.

A little while ago, three space probes were launched atop a Falcon 9 rocket from the Kennedy Space Center. After approximately one hour and 23 minutes, they successfully separated from the rocket's final stage within about 13 minutes and set off on a course that will take them to the area known as L1 (Lagrange 1), where they will begin their scientific work studying various aspects of space weather.

Preprint reports that regular cadence radio range data measurements to an Ice Giants probe during interplanetary travel, could yield some interesting gravitational wave (micro-Hz regime) science!

Hopefully, nothing happens to Voyager 2 that requires human intervention in the near future. But we can still listen to it's signals.

Good news. The ion engine on Hayabusa2 has been tested with no problems found, and it is scheduled to start the return journey from asteroid Ryugu on Dec 3, according to this tweet by JAXA.
