Far be it from me to advocate for the destruction of property, but if something were to happen to mess up this mad mirror-in-space project before it can assault the planet, I wouldn't shed any tears.
We really need international laws with real teeth to put an end to this use of the planet and its life forms as involuntary lab rats by the morbidly rich.
