  2. Ska titta på Tarkovskijs "Spegeln" senare. Mosfilms Youtubekanal är verkligen ett ymnighetshorn för filmälskare. #arthouse #sovietfilm #film youtube.com/watch?v=NrMINC5xjM

  3. Just watched Letter Never Sent, from 1960, on the Criterion Channel. I loved it. It has amazing cinematography (some just bonkers setups) and a moving story. Anyone else seen it? What did you think? #kalatozov #sovietfilm #criterion #film

  4. Revisiting the Classics: BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN (1925). I last saw this a decade ago, in a fairly muddy print- shame on me for not correcting that sooner. This was a much more engaging watch in a better looking version, and you can see why it’s been a centerpiece of film study for decades- not to mention one highly effective propaganda piece. And the Odessa Steps sequence is still amazing and impressive after all these years. #silentfilm #sovietfilm
