For #SchiffSamstag here's a hovercraft which isn't technically a ship or a boat, and even though travelling on it is called a flight I don't consider it a plane either. Whatever. This one was coming across from the Isle of Wight and about to land at Southsea in 2011.

UK Pride will be hosted by Portsmouth next weekend and here's hoping that the weather will be as glorious then as it is here today. The weather app says "not so much" but I've learnt not to trust it.
Our niece likes going and we took her last year because her mum couldn't go. This year we'll all be heading down, though.

Already posted in repsonse to the person who made me aware of #SquirrelSaturday but here's the #squirrel again for others who're interested. Where I live we only have the #redsquirrel. This is a screenshot of a 2012 #photograph I took of a rare #albinosquirrel in #Southsea where they have #greysquirrels so I assume that this one is grey with a lack of melanin. I often risked being late for work trying to spot it to get a #picture.

Easily the best thing I saw at #VictoriousFestival at the weekend were #Melbourne's awesome Amyl & The Sniffers, a rip-roaring snarl of a set that tore across the Castle Stage.
Chunky riffs, choice barbs and apparently powered by #Jagermeister, Amy Taylor & co rocked the soul. A beautifully raucous way to wrap up a Saturday night.
