Kind #guitar players,

You "never took it out of the house."

You "kept it indoors at all times."

Not

"It never left the apartment."

Sincerely, a #southpaw searching the classified ads.

Last night I watched Southpaw: The Life and Legacy of Jim Abbott, the most inspiring, emotional and uplifting story about one of the most underrated pitchers ever in baseball... Mr. Jim Abbott, I've always liked him, but I never really knew his story and it's an amazing story! 🫶🏼 ⚾

As I hone in on making the perfect #Mechanicalkeyboard for myself, I realize that more than visual aesthetics texture is more important to me. I prefer a smooth texture over a rough/3d printed texture. Also, I prefer scooped home keys instead of a light bump.

Last night I switched the #southpaw keyboard back over to the banana themed keycaps from the Japanese nightlife themed set.
Before keycap set is black; after keycap set is yellow.

Man, I forgot to post this last week. This was the result of my Southpaw Challenge (left-handed drawings). They came out better than expected, so I'm pleased~

We'll be continuing with more characters from these games this Saturday, so feel free to show up and sabotage me with redeems (suffering = entertainment).

I hope to see you guys there~ Expect a schedule post right after this one.

International Left Handers Day is today, 13-August. Happy day, my fellow #southpaws. Did you know that we southpaws were once considered evil and unnatural? Or that the word sinister is Latin for left or left handed?

So I took part of a little group activity during https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1925605790 and we did Keliff's fav creature from Cassette Beasts.

This was actually WAY more than I intended to do! Originally I just wanted to do a sketch to take part but then OOPS! All colours. I was extremely pumped from having https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUJS9ystZlc constantly on loop in the background (just under the volume of Keliff haha)

@fionacreates I customize a lot, especially keybindings. Both in Krita and Blender. I'm a #southpaw and try to put the most used functions on the numpad in drawing software. And generally put the frequently used functions on easy to reach keys.
Tend to also remove widgets and windows that I rarely use, and shift the UI around for better space utilization and comfort.

Wow Just Wow Dept: #TimPierce does the #RSI scary sh*t routine and it's important. I went there as a #Southpaw tennis player landing on right front foot (on the serve) all the time.. It wasn't immediately evident after transitioning to long studio hours. Then woke up one morning and thought I'd had a stroke. Bulging disk. Different cause, Same result. Don't ignore symptoms !

Here's a question I have literally never thought to ask, "Are these shorts right-handed or left-handed?" I ordered a couple pair of shorts from Costco and they only have one back pocket and it's on the right side. I'm left-handed and it's driving me insane. #sinister #southpaw

Late Of Notes Dept: #Squire has apparently issued a new 12 string jazzmaster that is pretty cool. My understanding is that expectations of a #southpaw are a bridge too far

As a #Southpaw this immediately caught the eye. Bravo to the parents here who decided the little one need not fight nature. Orchestras will have to come to terms with the words "eyeball collector". When visited by the opportunity to scratch that lifelong itch (of violin- not started yet) this southpaw chickened out and decided to go traditional- meaning right handed. Gonna be interesting

Today I brought my kids for a slice of pizza... In the same place the Irish Minister for Finance brought his.
That's just the kind of people we hang out with 😉😄
No messing though, #Southpaw right in the centre of Temple Bar. They are doing interesting things with pizza. While pizza is always a bit the same, they do the fresh dough and wood fired thing, but also very deep base, or folded or tiny, with unique toppings, and a kick ass tomato sauce.

I also spent some time trying to setup a #SouthPaw #TACTIC server, which I think might have real potential as a combined #VersionControlSystem #DigitalAssetManagement and #ProjectManagement system.

However, I found it to be pretty heavy. Without a dedicated person working on it, it seems like it might be more than I could manage.

I haven't completely given up on that. I might be able to create a generic project template with it that could be reused more easily.
