#TodaysWalk was to Herne Hill, over the border between #SouthEastLondon and the desperate west, and thence to Brixton Hill and Clapham.
The border is not very visible as it meanders through Brockwell Park, but there's always someone, or something, watching.
#TodaysWalk was one of the last I'll be taking this week, so I was happy to find, on my way to Crystal Palace, a bin-pergola to add to my portfolio of bin-shelter studies.
The bin-store and the bin-shed have become, in recent decades, familiar features of the built environment of #SouthEastLondon, but the bin-pergola seems to be a novelty, not least to the people who design such things who, in this case at least, have managed to provide their insufficient shelter for insufficient bins.
These almshouses are a time-travel corner of 1821, hiding in built-up, urban #peckham #SouthEastLondon they look especially good when the sun is setting (taken last week) #silentSunday
#TodaysWalk was by way of Betts Park in Anerley where they wisely keep a plinth* in case someone nearby ever deserves a statue.
My destination was the South Norwood Country Park, where I found a little grebe, a few bigger geese, and sixteen mid-sized crows which, having successfully mobbed a heron, had settled down to watch the Crystal Palace Transmitter Tower (arrowed).

I haven't done #TodaysWalk yet, but I did go out yesterday and found two monkey-puzzles, three murals, a chiff-chaff, a robin, a pigeon, a camellia, a dozen dinosaurs and StonePenge.
I also checked up on the Celebratory Spruce of Sydenham which, at least for the moment, was still in the depths of Lent.

#TodaysWalk was to #Sydenham Wells Park to inspect once more the Great Wall of Christmas, now deconstructed and shovelled onto the Nature Reserve.
The Survey of the Floods seemed to be over too, given that the sign had vanished.
That might, in itself, have been a sign of something else. But I'd done more than enough of thinking by then, so flapped my hands at the little birds, did the thing with my arms at the squirrels, and went home for tea and biscuits.
#TodaysWalk took me out to #WestWickham to undertake a minor financial transaction, as they've closed two nearer branches.
Though I might have trudged along the London to Lewes Way, a Roman road that links Asylum Road in Peckham to a golf club in Lewes, by way of Sydenham, Beckenham, Eden Park and West Wickham, sadly I was too late.
Instead I found Crease Park and High Broom Wood, both of which the Roman road missed.
#TodaysWalk took me North to #Greenwich, where I reviewed some #ActiveTravel infrastructure and admired, albeit from a distance, the Greenwich Foot Tunnel which, should it spring a puncture, might drain the Thames.
#TodaysWalk was to #Peckham, where I learnt that the Solomon's Passage* flats are now flat, and that the worm will come**.
