  3. Reimplemented the #BlackMesa sliding mechanic partially into my #SourceSDK 2013 MP #Game today. Still has a bug to fix regarding gaining speed on the floor through strafe sliding not working, but overall it’s quite accurate to the original. Also, you walk at 320 units per second like in Black Mesa whether you like it or not.

    Not ready to share the idea or plans for this game I’m making just yet but thought I should share this.

    Had to resort to #FaceIT as there were no usable bones (oh no !)

    Even working with *cast files from #SourceEngine is more fun

  9. So I just discovered that it's not possible to move Half Life 2 to another steam partition. This is because all source games must be installed within the same drive. Not an issue for source 2 (e.g., Half Life: Alyx).

  10. Genau deswegen ist es gut, dass der #SourceCode frei verfügbar ist, auch wenn es in dem Fall ein Leak ist. Vor allem zeigt es aber auch, dass es möglich ist, #SourceEngine Spiele auf #ARM64 und damit auch auf #AppleSilicon zu portieren. #Valve muss es nur wollen. Es gibt bis heute keine offiziellen 64-Bit Versionen der Valve Spiele für #macOS.

  14. Just tried #TeamFortress2Classic and it's a perfection. :ablobcatangel:

    All the best parts of #TF2: no cosmetics, no unusuals, no unbalanced weapons, no ranks, no aimbots. It doesn't clog RAM and CPU, has polished settings, lighting, gamemodes, better achievements. Easy #LinuxGaming with #Proton and in-house installer. Not to mention that the game is constantly maintained by Team #Eminoma.

    I'm like a teenager again, so much fun playing #TeamFortress2 again, hahaha! :0080:
