@thingsiplay I don't want #sbox to fail, I've been looking forward to it and #Source2 for a very long time.
...But not at the larger cost of spawning an unmoderated platform where hate and abuse can fester.
#garrynewman seems to be of the mind that he can do no wrong, when in fact he is taking the company in a new direction. With that comes new responsibility which he and his staff refuse to manage or plan for, despite many users giving the same feedback: "We need moderation"

Group-think runs wild, zero moderation on the forums. Write well thought out feedback? You get a bunch of unrelated replies from people who didn't read your post trying to troll you. Staff member users on the forum are not clearly marked, so you have to guess. No obvious community rules posted.
It's exactly what you wouldn't expect from the same development communities #Facepunch is trying to compete with.
#Autistic should avoid like the plague.

What I have seen and interacted with the past few days, community conduct wise, is extremely concerning to me as a #gamedev professional.
There seems to be no community management, and it's like they said "lets give the community of DarkRP a game engine toolkit"
Bullying is enabled from the top, and a few times I saw it from FP staff.
I have no clue how they will attract (or train) professionals. #Toxic #Source2

If you ask me, I have hopes that #HalfLife3 will come with something revolutionary, with a good written story.
The games have been always about technology used in the environment to react to the user. I wonder what will bring the third main installment.
