  7. Congratulations to #SoundTheSiren on their #StanleyCup win.
#Habs got a first-hand look at how tough Carolina are to beat when they're playing their brand of hockey; only 3 losses total these playoffs is an impressive feat!

  8. #SoundTheSiren captain Jordan Staal is the 2026 Conn Smythe Trophy winner for MVP of the #StanleyCup playoffs, as voted by @[email protected].

Staal had a Stanley Cup Final for the ages, becoming the first player to score in each of the first five games in 70 years.

  9. When they’re old and sitting around a fire with beers, maybe what they’ll appreciate the most is that they won Game 6 exactly their way.

    Clinical. Relentless. Exacting.

Proof that their formula wins - at last.

#SoundTheSiren Carolina Hurricanes are 2026 Stanley Cup champs.

#SoundTheSiren one win away from first #StanleyCup in 20 years. Was the #ForgedInGold Carter Hart question really stupid? Don't think so. #Oilers and Darnell Nurse.

  16. Unquestionable heart from #SoundTheSiren on display against a hardened team #ForgedInGold.

What a game. What a series.

Game 6 is Sunday in Vegas.

  17. #SoundTheSiren history, different but similar?

In 2006, Cam Ward opened playoffs 9-3 with .920. He was pulled in Game 3 of ECF.

Martin Gerber started Game 4. Carolina won. Then Ward returned in Game 5 - and Carolina ultimately advanced.

Ward won the Conn Smythe that spring.

  18. Frederik Andersen is Carolina’s EBUG tonight, in case you were curious.

Don’t think he is necessarily fully “healthy” but team has not made an injury declaration.

FWIW, #SoundTheSiren have had goalie get full rest (not dress) few times this season to prepare for a game ahead.

  23. Should Carolina go to Brandon Bussi in Game 4? #SDP #SoundTheSiren

    Presented by Moosehead

  24. I know that It’s the Hope That Kills You™️ but I’m semi-optimistic that #SoundTheSiren can beat the odds and win in 7. Erasing a 4-point deficit was “impossible,” too.

Freddie has not been strong enough to overcome defensive breakdowns against VGK, so it’s time to see what Bussi can do with a start.

  26. What a game.

Carolina’s power play comes alive. Seth Jarvis awakens. #SoundTheSiren earn the split - and we’ve got a heck of a series.

The first #StanleyCup Final ever that opens with multi-goal comeback wins by each team.

  27. Carolina continuing to push 5 SOG, 2 missed shots, 1 goal, 1 blocked shot. Only 1 SOG by Vegas

  28. Merch alert: Rally Point on Franklin St., Chapel Hill #SoundTheSiren

  29. Frederik Andersen has allowed 20 goals in 13 playoff games.

    Twenty.

He’s played every minute in #SoundTheSiren 12-1 run - and has a shot to shatter modern records.
