the LF drivers in my home hifi and the smaller Minirig "picnic" Soundsystem are Australian designed and manufactured Lorantz speakers with kevlar impregnated cones.. sound great, super tuff..

A pity to see them go..

Lorantz Audio, established in 1976, has produced a diverse and unique range of world-class products through continuous research, development, and refinement over the past 50 years.

After more than five decades of service to the audio industry, we must announce the imminent closure of Lorantz Audio. Our inability to find a suitable entity to continue the business has led to this difficult decision and the retirement of the company.

We wish to express our sincere gratitude to our customers and suppliers who have supported us throughout this journey and helped make Lorantz what it is today.

The primary reasons for closure are the current volatile economic climate, material supply challenges, and an increasingly unstable market.
