Live and recent posts from across the Fediverse tagged #soundsource, aggregated by home.social.

  1. I was initially tempted to blame a bug in one of my third-party @RogueAmoeba audio tools, namely either #SoundSource or #Loopback. But I knew very well it was actually more likely to be macOS itself.

Ended up force-quitting #coreaudiod and #systemsoundserverd in #ActivityMonitor and… sure enough, things were back to normal after that.

Today’s Apple for ya. A picture of software unreliability and untrustworthiness.

  6. #Upcoming #SoundSource was a short-lived (1991–1992) sub-label of #ColdMeatIndustry* dedicated to making limited edition cassettes. Often these were debut albums for the musicians.

    *Founded by #RogerKarmanik, aka #BrighterDeathNow and #LilleRoger.

  7. #Upcoming A quick thread 🧵 about the Italian harsh noise label #Urashima. They’ve got a new batch of vinyl reissues, originally cassettes from the #SoundSource record label, available September 29th. Get in fanatics, we’re going to Sweden! 🇸🇪

  8. Tune into #AMITv at amiplus.ca/p/fWpLtzVh?channel= and locate the play button. use #SoundSource to adjust the volume so you can listen in the background if on the mac. Windows will let you adjust the volume of each app independently.
