Von der Leyen empezó su discurso con una frase que ha dado la vuelta al mundo: "Europa está en lucha". Pero no es retórica, es realidad:
🔹 19 drones rusos violaron el espacio aéreo de Polonia (10/09/2025). La OTAN activó el artículo 4 por primera vez en años.
🔹 Rusia lanzó 458 drones/misiles contra Ucrania esa misma noche.
🔹 Polonia cerró 4 aeropuertos y derribó los drones con F-35 holandeses. 👇🧵 -
Nel discorso di ieri sullo #StatodellUnione, #vonderLeyen è stata all’altezza del compito, dichiarando di voler collaborare alla difesa dell’#Europa e dei sui valori con tutti i partiti pro-europei.
Non così il #ParlamentoEuropeo in cui, nel successivo dibattito, i partiti sono stati più interessati alle loro questioni di cortile, che ad affrontare le sfide della situazione internazionale.

🇺🇦 Sasha was only 11 when he was abducted by Russia after bombs tore through his neighbourhood in Mariupol.
With the strength of his grandmother, Liudmyla, he found his way back home.
🔥Lieutenant Paisios led a team of twenty Greek rangers who answered Spain’s call for help against devastating wildfires in Asturias.
They battled day and night, and saved the village of Genestoso.
This is Europe: solidarity, courage, and unity. -

@SibylleBerg verweist heute in ihrem Redebeitrag bei der Aussprache im Europäischen Parlament zur #SOTEU auf die #Chatkontrolle. Danke!
Die geplante anlasslose Massenüberwachung ist eine Gefahr für Demokratie und IT-Sicherheit in der EU. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass EU-Kommissionspräsidentin von der Leyen heute endlich ankündigt diesen fehlgeleiteten Vorschlag zurückzunehmen. Aber leider nein. Wir werden also weiter dran bleiben!

Ursula von der Leyen hat sich mit ihrer Rede und den Vorschlägen klar gegen die wachsende Gruppe in der EVP gestellt, die Mehrheiten mit Rechtsextremen bilden wollen. Gut so, hoffentlich setzt sie sich in der EVP durch und den Ankündigungen folgen nun auch Taten. #soteu
