I think the #nytimes app devs have been #vibecoding too much lately. It has become an unstable mess. They rolled out ios glass support, ruined the viewing experience with a bizarrely faded area top of screen so you have less usable reading area and the app does this for me regularly, stops responding to touch and crashes with #sorrysomethingwentwrong.
