There were important Democratic Party primary elections in Texas, Michigan, Maine, and Iowa but almost without exception the losing candidate generously supported the winning candidate. The exception is Jasmine Crockett in Texas who is talking about not campaigning with James Talarico.

Been thinking about the discourse of the last few years around the #2020Election, and the amazing thing to me is that the epithet #SoreLoser just has not managed to be used widely in discussions about #DonaldTrump. I mean, it shows up in the occasional opinion piece, but it just isn’t getting the kind of repetition it needs to have an impact on his masculinity obsessed base. This seems odd, because it’s exactly the kind of phrase he would use to undermine the “alpha” qualities of a rival. 1/2

I mean, #SoreLoser shouldn’t be hard to say every time his name comes up, and a #SoreLoser is inherently someone who isn’t strong or tough, but instead whiny and weak. Moreover, it’s the kind of thing where if enough people were calling him a #SoreLoser, at some point his own complaints about having lost start reinforcing the image of him as a pathetic loser. Would be nice to see #SoreLoserDonaldTrump trending on platforms. I note that #SoreLoserParty is gaining traction, so I have hope. 2/2
