I’m too old for this shit.

Shoveling, I mean. I felt okay when I first came back inside after shoveling, but now that a few hours have passed… Ouch town, population me, bro. Every inch of me is sore, and despite having two of the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages over the last two nights, I am completely exhausted.

I don’t know if I have the energy to do anything other than sit on the couch for the rest of the night. I think we were already planning on ordering out for dinner tonight. Maybe I’ll be able to crawl to the door to bring the delivery in.* I mean, really… that’s asking a lot.

It is a good thing I managed to put rhythm guitar tracks onto two RPM Challenge songs this morning before I shoveled. I don’t know if I will be able to do any more than that tonight, though I really need to. We’ll see how the pain goes. For now though, it’s just couch time. Much needed couch time, believe me.

Post Flood woes: My mobility is much less than I wish it was, yesterday I had a mishap while carrying the water container that collects moisture extracted from the sub-floor space in my home. Although it only had about an inch of water, the container is quite bulky. As I was manoeuvring it out the front door, I caught my foot and went flying. Now, my shoulder, arm, back, and various other parts of my body are aching and sore.

Did I Punch Myself?

There’s something up with my eye. My left eye is all red and sore. I feel like I got punched in the face. Weird. I don’t remember getting punched in the face. Did I punch myself? Did I punch myself so hard that it was erased from my memory?

No, I am sure that didn’t happen. I just wish whatever was going on would stop. It is annoying.

I’m not talking about that stye I had on my right eye a few weeks ago. That’s still there but it’s about 95% gone. Whatever this is, it’s on the other eye. This one is a lefty.

Maybe I should just nap for a couple of days. That’ll fix me right up.

End of week 5. 5 more sessions until I finished my pre-paid course.

Legs are definitely hurting less after each session. Core still really hurts, mainly do most of the beginning stuff focusing on the lower body.

End of Week 4. I am tired. Today was legs and core. As well as a little balance. I really need to wear my workout shoes around the house more to get used to them. Time to head home and hit the shower and start a load of laundry.
